Behind the Lens
Hey, I'm Alessandro, 36, originally from Geneva and passionate about photography for as long as I can remember.
I studied cinema, spent years doing freelance videography across Switzerland, and then one day I stepped back. Not out of boredom, but because I realized that making a still image come alive is a far more interesting challenge.
Watchmaking came by accident. I wanted to photograph my father's watch, a simple old piece but one with a lot of history.
The result was a total disaster, the reflections, the light, the finishing, nothing captured what the watch really was.
From that day I didn't stop experimenting, failing, starting over, until I truly understood how to master this type of photography.
Timefreeze is the result of all that. A watch photography studio based in Switzerland between Geneva and Neuchâtel, working with brands and retailers. No gimmicks, no fluff. Just watches, captured the way they deserve.
